Michael Barnes

Mr. Barnes is an associate consultant with KappaWest. He is an experienced senior executive with thirty years of Information Technical Services experience. His background includes a variety of business situations from Senior Network Administrator to Senior Systems Analyst.

Prior to joining the KappaWest team, Mr. Barnes worked with a large telemarketing firm, WATTS Communications, where he was responsible for managing the infrastructure from a software and hardware perspective. He also built two satellite offices (on both coasts), managed testing and deployment for sites with over 500 end users, facilitated weekly team meetings, and implemented video conferencing at all WATTS locations.

As a Senior Technical Administrator for IBM, Mr. Barnes provided Level 5 support to financial and insurance customers before moving into the IBM Lab. Mr. Barnes also worked for the Ontario Government as a Sr. Systems Analyst where he developed strategy for Web Based Services as well as handled sales to their Medical Insurance and Financial customers.
